Dear Sir/Madam :
I am writing to apply for your
master's degree program in Harvard University in which I am enormously
interested.
I will apply Computer Science
program because I want to continue my education to be more focused on Computer
science. In addition to the linearity of the program from my previous program,
the reason I am taking this master's program is because of my passion on this
program. My name is Ilham Faizi. I am a student of Gunadarma University who
study Information System major, Faculty of Computer Science.
After I graduated I aspire to be
a sophisticated game developer. My hobby is playing games, but in playing my
game not just to play it. I also do business in a game and diligently to follow
the national game championships. My achievements in the game world is the first
champion PBNC by representing the city team Jakarta. Although I am happy to
play the game but my academic value is also good to be said and not to be ugly
due to playing games. I am very happy to play the game and I became
increasingly interested in improving the quality of games in the world as well
as becoming the first famous game developer from Indonesia and the name of the
nation.
Since I was in junior high school
and continuing to a higher level I always follow an intra-school organization
called OSIS. My school organization has been mobilizing to host a city-level
sporting performance which is attended by several schools as well as a social
service for people who can not afford around my school because my school is
surrounded by many underprivileged communities. Besides, I also have special
skills in sports. I am proficient in basketball games, swimming and also chess.
When I studied at Gunadarma
University, I gained much experience in computer science. I studied many
programming languages, one of which is C #. In the sixth semester I conducted a
study on the introduction of ship safety equipment using augmented reality
technology that is implemented on a smartphone. I chose Augmented reality because
I believe that in this day and age augmented reality will be worldwide and well
liked by the people. My research was also appreciated by the value of A by my
campus.
After my graduation I would be
very interested in studying to continue my master's degree program in Harvard
University at the Computer Science Program. If I am selected to be one of the
scholarship recipients to study at Harvard University I will dedicate myself
and give the best and proud Harvard University. Planning ahead if I have received
this scholarship I will use this opportunity with the best possible. It will
help my parent's already single parent economy and build a bright future by
becoming a sophisticated Game Developer. Do not forget to build the game world
for the better and make people's view-about the game to be positive. Because
playing the game is not always negative but can also hone the performance and
synchronization of our right and left brain so that we are more creative.
So letters of this motivation I
make, hopefully Harvard University may consider me a candidate for a
scholarship recipient to study at Harvard University. Thank you.
